To participate in the Youth Football Cup, teams must be officially apply to participate the tournament and meet the criteria outlined below:
Team Composition
- U12 Teams: Must have a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 8 players. It is recommended to have 5 main players and 2-3 substitutes.
- U14 Teams: Must have a minimum of 9 players and a maximum of 10 players. It is recommended to have 7 main players and 3 substitutes.
- U18 Teams: Must have a minimum of 12 players and a maximum of 14 players. It is recommended to have 9 main players and 3-5 substitutes.
- Each team must include one coach responsible for managing the team and overseeing all tournament-related activities.
Team Name
- Choose a unique and appropriate team name that reflects your team's identity and spirit.
- Register and get approval from the tournament organisers to avoid duplication with other teams.
Jerseys and Equipment
- Teams must wear matching jerseys with numbers for easy identification. Each player should be equipped with proper football gear, including cleats, shin guards, and suitable attire. Bring spare jerseys in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Coach Requirements
- Each team must have a coach to manage and guide the team. Coaches should be prepared to handle all team communications with tournament staff.
Documentation
- Submit all required forms and documents to verify player ages, such as passports or official IDs.
- Provide signed parental consent forms for all players.
- Ensure each player has medical clearance to participate.
Fee
- A registration fee is required to confirm your team's participation.
- Additional fees, based on the selected package, will be added to your balance and are due for payment on the scheduled dates.
Preparation
- Conduct regular training sessions leading up to the tournament to boost team performance and cohesion.
- Develop strategies and positional play to enhance your team's competitive edge.
- Foster a positive atmosphere and sportsmanship both on and off the field.
- Join a training camp in London before the tournament.
Team Assignments
- All participating teams will be assigned to groups within their age category approximately one month prior to the tournament date.
- Group details and team profiles will be available on our website two weeks before the tournament.
